Da Nang's 2007 Sea Festival / Wave Day!

Da Nang Sea Festival was held on the 16th of June 2007 on 20km of beach of Da Nang. Minh Long Co., Ltd took this opportunity at this beautiful beach to run its first Wave Day event. The event was held in Xuan Thieu (Red Beach) Resort. The event started from 7.30 am – 6.00 pm with a turn out of over 2000 strong crowds.

In this event, around 40 participants, consist of 3 teams, joined the S-1 race. Before the race started, all the participants were briefed about safety riding. Each group had two tries to give participants a chance to familiarise with the WaveRunners as most of them were beginners and some never even tried before.

During the race, our MC, Mr. Phung (Minh Long Co., Ltd Marketing Development Executive) kept the crowd entertained with his jokes and funny gestures. To make the atmosphere more fun, the crowds were asked some questions and the winner will receive small gifts from Minh Long Co., Ltd.

In the final race, the top 3 from each group raced against each other to determine the top three best rider of the day. During the race, all the riders surprisingly became faster and most of their record time was under 50 seconds.

After the race, the prize presentation was held for the top three and the top two slowest riders. Mr. Tran Ngoc Tan (GM of Xuan Thieu Tourist Investment Corporation Ltd), & Mr. Sio Hock Chuan (GM of Minh Long Co., Ltd) gave the prizes to all the winners.

1st place: Hoang Van Thuyen

2nd place: Le Tu Minh

3rd place: Nguyen Duy Tan

1st slowest: Miss Truong Thi Thuy Dung

2nd slowest: Tran Quoc Vu
