Minh Long warns the importance of Yamalube for Yamaha Outboards

Minh Long has been advising all Yamaha customers about the importance of Yamalube for their Yamaha outboards. Many customers who did not know or are using other brands were having a lot of problems with their engines.

Yamalube is specially formulated only for Yamaha Outboards. This is to ensure that your Yamaha engine is protected from rust, corrosion from high load and high speed conditions.

Yamalube 2 Stroke is specially formulated for 2 Stroke Yamaha outboards. Yamalube can mix well with fuel due to its proper blending capability to allow proper lubrication. Many other brands do not have this capability. Once this happens, there will be many problems occur in the engine, mainly:
  • Causes miss fire due to oil remains in the ignitian plugs.
  • Because of oil density is lean, it can degrade your engine performance.
  • Damage the pistons and cylinders.
  • Corrosion in the engine caused by high solidity and sulphur from low quality engine oils.
Yamalube 4 Stroke is the only engine oil specially formulated to prolong the life of Yamaha 4 Stroke outboards. Compare to cars, 4 Stroke outboards have the same displacement and HP output range, but 4 Stroke engines have different characteristics:
  • Constant exposure to high humidity, high load and salt water.
  • Extensive usage at high throttle (5,000 rpm).
  • Subject to rust and tear.
Because of the unique charateristics above, 4 Stroke outboards require to have a better lubrication than normal cars and only Yamalube 4 Stroke can do this.

Minh Long also advises all Yamaha customers to check and replace their Yamalube oil periodically to maintain good lubrication and prolong the life cycle of their outboards. For this, Minh Long has advised all customers to directly contact Minh Long head office or its dealers throughout Vietnam for proper maintenance and to make sure only Yamalube is used for their Yamaha outboards.
