Project Details: As part of our CCS campaign, our second CCS of 2007 was launched on August 27th, 2007. This time, we were not just focusing on unfortunate people only, but also blind people in Ho Chi Minh city. Therefore, we decided to go and visit the Blind Association and distribute rice and instant noodles to them.We held this campaign in the morning from 9 am and finished in the afternoon around 4 pm. More than 2000 kgs of rice and 2000 packets of instant noodles were distributed to over 400 blinds and unfortunate families. These activities so far have attracted local government and some generous people around Ho Chi Minh city area. We are thinking of expanding our CCS activities in the future to some countrysides so that local people there can receive cares and needs from Minh Long Yamaha, expressing the Vietnamese spirit: "the healthy leaves covers the torn ones." |
