Project Details: In October of 2004, there was wide spread flooding in the central region cities of Dong Thap, An Giang and the suburbs around Can tho. Many people were evacuated and food was very scarces. Emergency aid was immediately organised to send food to the affected areas by several charitable organisations.Minh Long decided to do our part and immediately take part in aid work. This is to date the largest CCS operation every organised by Minh Long Co in terms of individuals benefiting. A Total of 2 Tonnes of Rice was donated by Minh Long along with other items from other companies like Instant noodles and Condensed Milk was delivered on the 15th of October 2004. After such a traumatic experience for these poor people, we only hope we have helped ease some of their suffering and put a smile on their faces with our small donations. |
